October Newsletter

No Room For Complacency is the lead article in this newsletter. In August Employment Today asked me to write an opinion piece as it seemed there was a smugness at least in some of the media around New Zealands mature aged worker participation rates. Yet I knew from working with companies that many were struggling with very real issues. Just recently Paul Spoonley from Massey University published his latest book Rebooting the Regions and made similar points. Working in both NZ and Australia I experience quite different levels of awareness and responses. Hence this lead article.
